Race For Life

The Women’s Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada (WRMCSN) would like to thank those who participated in our 26th Anniversary Race for Life. Because of your love and dedication our participants raised approximately $30,000. Praise the Lord! Fundraising is a vital part of our ministry, and we at the WRMCSN feel so proud and privileged to have such dedicated partners in HIS call to save HIS children. The money that was raised enables us to continue to share the Word of God to men and women who find themselves in a pregnancy situation they had not planned for.

Lace up your athletic shoes and join us for the annual Race For Life. Your participation in either the one mile walk or five kilometer run allows us to continue providing complimentary services to approximately 5,000 clients each year and with the addition of our Image Clear Ultrasound Mobile Unit we anticipate the number of clients to potentially double! Bring the entire family and celebrate LIFE in Las Vegas.

 

CHOOSE YOUR PACE! Walk or Run for the unborn, 1 Mile Walk or 5K Run, SIGN UP TODAY!

There is no registration fee for 1 Mile Walk Participants and for the 5K Participants a low fee of $20 and a special family friendly rate of just $45. course map

2.   Participate with your family, friends, church group or as an individual.

3.   Fundraise by collecting pledges and tax-deductable donations (flat, not per mile) online or in person.

4.   Turn In sponsor forms and donations at registration on Race Day.

  • Games, music, food & fun for the family!
  • SOS Radio will be Race for LIFE event emcee.
  • Prizes for Top Team FUNDraisers.
  • Raffle prizes during event for registered participants.
  • Trophy presentation will go to Top Team FUNDraiser Youth Group winners and they will also receive prizes and a pizza party!

Online Registration and Fundraising

 

Register online to participate in the Race For Life and create your own personal fundraising page (free of charge) and invite your sponsors from around the world to donate on your behalf online. You can personalize your fundraising page with a photo and your own story if you like or use the template provided.  The most convenient feature of all is that you can email a link of your personal fundraising page to your family and friends and encourage them to donate online via credit card, it's fast, easy and secure! You will then become eligable to win a great prize for the most money raised by an individual. 

Use the Online Registration and Fundraising page to register to participate in the Race and begin fundraising today! You can also view our fundraising goal and check our progress or use the online fundraising feature to donate to a friend’s fundraising page for the Race For Life.

Print a Pledge Form

The new Online Registration and Fundraising option is great, but we know that it's not for everyone. Download a printer-friendly pledge form here. If you choose the printable pledge form rather than online fundraising, you'll need to download and print the form, collect sponsorships and bring the completed form with you on the day of the Race.

If you are organizing a team and choose to use printable pledge forms, you need to download the Team Sign Up form and bring the completed form with you on the day of the Race.

Youth Team Challenge

A trophy is rewarded to the largest fundraising team at the Race by our event emcee, SOS Radio. The Youth Group will receive the honor of displaying The Eternal Trophy with their name engraved until the next Race for Life. Their picture will also be shared on our website and e-Newsletter. For fun they will also be given a pizza party and receive some fun prizes at a convenient time set by the church youth leader.

Fundraising Tips

Take your commitment to the next level and implement some of these fundraising ideas:

  • Choose our new Online Registration and Fundraising option and create your own personal fundraising page and/or team page. Personalize your page with a photo and your own story! Then email a link to your page to everyone in your email address book.
  • Get your family, friends, youth group, small group, or neighbors to walk as a team.
  • Ask at least one person a day to sponsor you.
  • Send letters requesting pledges from your Christmas card list.
  • Be sure to let sponsors know that their donation is tax deductible.

Church Involvement

Churches are an integral part of the Race For Life. We appreciate your support and involvement in the Race. Your church can encourage youth groups, men's and women's fellowship groups, small groups or home fellowships to come out as a team or participate individually!
